so aside from hot hot hot tropicana, the nightLIFE is unique - go in groups - never alone - trusty cab driver to drop off and pick-up if staying out late (wouldn't push it past 2AM unless you SPEAK spanish b/c the locals figure out you're a tourist and mess with you! lol) FYI - i warned ya! it's safe and the food and drinks are delish but be sure to say you're Canadian - they love us! :)

This has to be the most popular night spot in Santiago on saturday nights for as long as I can remember. Frequented by tourists and Cubans alike, the evening usually starts with live music and a fashion/dance show, followed by a loud, usually packed disco afterwards. Guests of the Melia hotel can enter via the 2nd floor. Line-ups outside can get long and expect a wait to get inside if you don't arrive early. Currently there is a 5 CUC entry fee with a drink or two included. A great value for what is offered.The large indoor room is now smoke-free and service can be slow when busy. The place has lost a bit of it's raunchiness but pick-pockets are not as frequent with security cameras now installed. The doormen can be a bit hard to sway here but the dance-floor is another story altogether.

es un lugar q no te puedes perder por su colorido y la buena music y el buen ambiente q hay alli y el decorado interior semeja varias calles de la ciudad de santiago muy bien hecho y bien logrado!
