Stunning beach. relaxing atmosphere. not a lot of room to sit on the beach as the water is very close, but there is a lovely little BBQ spot just around the bend of the beach.

Palm trees falling on sea. One part wavy, other side calm. Just a few resorts and clean water. Also there is a nice buffet with reasonable prices

Not crowded. Mixture of calm waves and waves for the surf camp along the beach. Stayed for a day trip, but coming back to stay at one of the beach hotels this year.

The waves are strong but manageable. Board walk has been nicely landscaped nut the shore has been badly eroded.

The wife and I were away for four days and stayed in a small hotel in Playa Bonita. To actually get to the quiet part of the beach it is a short walk around the point, but once you take the short hike, you will be more than glad you did! The waters are crystal clear, the beach is empty, and the water is very shallow. You can walk all the way out and the water may reach your knees. best part of the Las Terrenas area is Playa Bonita beach.

Don't expect to see many street vendors. Quite beach. Clean and clear waters. Peaceful. Good small restaurants.

Really pretty and calm beach depending on what side one choose. Excellent for many things from novice surfers to just swimming. There are some bars and restaurants around.

nice small hotels & restaurants there. you can relax on this beach at the same time enjoy coconut water, food & drinks from near by shacks & restaurants. we went there twice for a day & had a great time.

It was beautiful! The people and the food were excellent. The ocean was great. Loved it! The sand was white and the water was warm.

Wonderful beach near Hotel Alisei - nice breezes, great for relaxing or running or even a little yoga in the morning

Pretty beach that's somewhat secluded. You can get here by walking easily or by motoconcho, car or taxi.

The place you normally see in the movies is at your service. Sheer Caribbean, warm sand, clear water, coconuts floating by... Relax, have fun, try some dried coconuts and cigar. OMG - where's my parrot?

Go beyond punta bonita, because the sea current is too strong the playa bonita, the beach is currently disapperring due to sand corrosion.
