This was my favorite beach in Vieques. You definitely need a jeep rental to get there and it is quite the hike to get to but ABSOLUTELY worth it. My family and I brought beach chars, a cooler and snacks and had an amazing day on the beach. The sand is white, there are shading spots, and it is an excellent spot for swimming. It is a secluded beach with many areas for lounging.

Really nice walk to Navio Beach. It was nice getting away from the crowds, nice waves the day we went for body surfing. And there was no one there! We brought lunch, water, and beverages in a back pack. It was a great walk!

A lovely beach to explore. There are caves to the left and a sink hole cave on the right. Not as visited as other beaches but worth the trip.

take the drive here, just don't eat anything right before. Lovely beach, but very windy and wavy when we were there. It was nice to just hang out on the beach, although I was hoping to actually swim.

Our preteen boys loved this beach the most out of all the beaches on Vieques, for the big waves. The road there is awful, though- even though we had a jeep, we would park at Media Luna and walk the rest of the way (only 5-10 min) due to the crater-sized potholes.

I went with my friends to Vieques for the first time and this beach definitely made the trip worth it. It's so beautiful I think I haven't gone to a beach as beautiful as this. I can't wait to go back!!!! Also, I see a lot of people didn't like the bumpy ride to get there but it's definitely worth it! You just need to rent a jeep and you're all set 'cause this beach is definitely worth it!

The road to this beach is bumpy and muddy, but it is worth it for the adventuresome. Rock caves and jumping. Beautiful and quiet beach.

despite what the review at the top said, this is not a snorkeling beach. The waves were way too big for that. That being said, it was great for boogie boarding, body surfing, etc. Lots of fun waves to play in. Soft white sand all the way around with no rocks at all. There is no shade so it gets hot fast when you're not in the water, I advise bringing an umbrella if you want some shelter. After the waves & soft sand, the best part about this beach is that it is one of the most sparsely frequented ones that I experienced. 2-4 other people total, most likely due to the rough road in.

Between the sea caves, cliffs to jump off of into the aqua blue water, and the very few people that go to this beach, what's not to love!:

The waves are great for boards. You can walk out for a long ways and the sand is like powdered sugar in color, and so fine.

The adventure of getting to this beach is half the fun. The puddles you have to drive through along the way look scarier than they actually are. They're rock on the bottom so don't worry about getting stuck. Once you get to the beach it's a beautiful solitary beach with caves and rocky out croppings on both sides.

After one look at the jeep-sized silkholes on the road to Navio, we ditched our vehicle and walked. We'd seen the "from inside the cave" photo and wanted to see it in person. Thing is, you can't get to the cave without calm surf and/or some serious hiking shoes. The beach was covered in kelp (not the beach's fault, but I hear global warming is a cause, so it could continue...) and not very inviting. If it was a calm day, I'd risk this one again. Otherwise, not worth it.

Did some snorkeling and loved it here. The cave is a great place for pics. We were literally the only ones here. YOU MUST HAVE 4WD to get to this beach as it takes a little bit to find. Road is accessed from SunBay Beach.
