We went for our breakfast and everything was so good.Staff very helpful and can't do enough for you. It is a beautiful place to look around so peaceful.volunteers are wonderful people. We will be going again very soon.

The volunteers here are amazing and incredibly helpful. There's a lot of local history in this area and if you're curious to learn about it, this is the place to go. The old house has been restored and the mill still functions to some degree. If you're lucky, you'll get to see them grind some wheat right there on the spot. There is a lot of lovely walking paths--just be sure to exercise some caution, some of the trails have steep sidings and feature very little safety fencing.

I Love coming here to unwind, it's so beautiful, peaceful, picture perfect. Love the sounds, the walk is so relaxing. The tour inside I've done a few times & enjoyed.. Great volunteers. Artists destination too.

Morningstar Mill is an absolutely spectacular property. The Mill and house are well preserved and definitely worth the quick tour if they are open. Everything there is run by volunteers and admission is by donation so choose what you feel is right. If you have the time to hike all the way around to the bottom of the falls it is an incredible sight. There is a gorgeous little pond at the base of the waterfall leading in to the stream that you will hike along the whole way in to the waterfall. If you are feeling adventurous it is also possible to walk directly behind the waterfall into a small alcove. I highly recommend this hike.

Fantastic! I am always excited when I get the chance to go to the Morning Star. The view is like no other. Would recommend this place for sure.

Beautiful location for pictures. We stopped by on a weekday after labor day and they weren't open for tours.

Great experience when acual mill machinery demonstations are running, can be a bit dusty though. Not many mills restored to operation these days a real treat for the history buff. A nice family outing when weather is great, as the countryside in area is spectacular.

A trip back to yesteryear with an amazing waterfall to check out. Beautiful, well maintained paths. Go with good, protective foot wear and you can climb down the gorge using foot and hand holds to see the spectacular Decew Falls.

While there was no activity to interact with or participate in at the time that we visited it is a beautiful setting with lots of great camera angles. The falls side of the mill is obstructed by natural growth which inhibits photography. Just to the right side of the parking lot there is a trail-head which follows the ridge of the ravine for those who like hiking. Take care however as there are no barriers to tumbling down a great drop.

We went here to go see the waterfall I hear a lot of people talk about. The walk to the waterfall is very hard, lots of terrain and we never even made it there. If they built a staircase like they have at the |Niagara Gorge it would be so much better and more people would be able to enjoy it.

Lovely little side trip if you're out and about touring - for all ages.Scenery is lovely. Go for a hike on the Bruce Trail, it runs along the water at the back of the mill property. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy it in the beautiful scenery. More info, and photos, at this website:http://www.niagaragreenbelt.com/listings/73-natural-habitats-a-features/626-decew-falls.html

We love going there to watch the waterfalls and hike along the stream. Very peaceful and lovely place. Museum nearby is all volunteer run. Great location and well laid out trails. A must see in Niagara if you enjoy hiking.
