I visited the centre for a tour and high tea. The tour guide was very knowledgable about the history of the house and the family. A nice touch is you get to pick your own tea cup from the fine china on the dining room table for your high tea. The scones and finger sandwiches were tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Uplands. The tour is free however there is a charge for high tea.
