Stunning wine cellars and gardens.Well worth a visit if you are heading to the Eastern Cape - duck pate and cheese platters and organically grown wine under the trees - blissful:)

This place and the wine were amazingly beautiful. We loved everything! The wine was some of the best wines I've ever tasted. The guy that served us was so friendly knowledgeable, I can't believe it was his second day. The wine maker was there and let us try a special orange wine. It was delish.I wish I could've bought all the wines but we are on holiday from aus. I highly recommend this place!

An interesting insight to a family run vineyard of many years. The knowledge provided with each of the wines tasted was excellent.Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Pulled up at 5 to 2, as the sign on the gate said cellar door was open from 2pm, we considerately waited in the car until 2. At 2pm, walked towards the cellar door, a lady walking across the yard asked how we could be helped-when we replied that we wished to taste some wine, were pretty much told, in not so many words, that we'd best make it quick as things were "very busy". Proceeded to taste what was on offer-the Gewurztraminer was sublime. Purchased some bottles, in spite of being continually reminded how busy things were, and feeling like an inconvenience the whole time.It wasn't all bad-there was some friendly conversation dotted in, but overall one of the least welcoming winery experiences we've had. Rating would be much higher if the welcome matched the wine

We stopped at this place by chance, after a recommendation from a couple we met on a wine tour on the previous day. The white wines were excellent & I endorse the previous comment about the Viognier. We also had an excellent cheese platter. The friendly American host came up with an excellent recommendation for dinner in Gisborne that night - and, yes - they did stock some of Millton's chenin blanc. A very informal place at which to taste and enjoy.

Beautiful setting, friendly, expert and free tasting, the none wine drinker was even given a beer! the children enjoyed the gardens, and were not rebuked when they inadvertently went into the "private" one! The wine to buy was delicious and affordable! Will be back soon!!

We were made to feel the most welcome I have ever felt at a cellar door plus the wine were fantastic. If you visit Gisborne put it on the top of your list.

Stunning world class wines which James Milton keeps developing. There are some cellar only deals worth the slight diversion on the way south.
