The whole thing was superb and gave everyone a good insight of what used to happen to whales and what we need to do about it now.Great to see Sea Shephard well represented.

The kids enjoyed going through the centre on a rainy afternoon in summer. The hands on experience was great for them too.

Absolutely loved the interpretational education in this centre. Great for kids and those who just have an interest in marine life. Also a new fantastic section on Sea Shepherd and the work they do to protect marine life. Highly recommend to visitors and locals alike

Took our 3 kids (3-10years) for a visit and really enjoyed! There is a treasure map hunt for clues, great interactive section upstairs where we could touch all sorts of shells, turtle shells, coral and bits. Lots of whaling history and information and a big whale skull. Downstairs was the kids favourite! A replica of the Steve Irvin sea shepherd with steering wheel that my 3yo wouldn't leave alone, a pretend shark net, and a sandpit to dig up some bones! Lovely time and great staff!

kids enjoyed learning about Whales, staff were very happy and helpful. A treasure hunt around the centre made it more interesting for the kids.

Great museum to spend a couple of hours in especially if the weather is a little inclement. There are lots of interesting exhibits to read about and also plenty of interactive things to engage the kids, especially upstairs where there is a cartoon movie playing and opportunities to look through microscopes and view live marine creatures.Down stairs, there is a 3D movie, albeit a bit dated and an exhibition on Sea Shepherd.

This is not a very large exhibition. We were expecting more. Nevertheless, it would be much more entertaining for children as they have a special "class" where kids can "play" with sea creatures.

Great centre, very educational for the kids, 3D movie and archaeological dig were top exhibits and entry and gift shop were very reasonably priced for a family on a budget

Good entertaining museum about history of whaling in Victor harbor, great for the kids as it really caters for them with amusing activities for them

Lots of displays on three levels. Very interesting leaning about the life of whales and how there are hardly any more in the wild compared to years past. There is a great 3D movie on the bottom floor and lots of interactive activities for the kids on the top floor. A very informative place with very friendly and helpful staff

We took two very boisterous 6 year old boys here and they had a great time! Their favorite was fossicking for bones! Great displays and lots to play with, read and learn!

lots of hands on experiences for the kids good value for its money, it does have 3 levels so if you cannot go up stairs you will miss out on a lot, the staff are friendly and helpful

Cheap entry, and a good history of the area. Especially great if you have kids, lots of areas especially for kids and plenty of pick up and touch and feel exhibits.

I enjoyed the short visit and delving into the whaling history of Victor Harbour. Probably more suited to people with children but I still found it interesting.
