This is a wonderful little hike on an elevated board walk with lots of interpretive signs and neat things to see; with three clear habitat deliniations. Well worth the 30-45 minute walk! Word of caution, it IS an mangrove so I would recommend mosquito repellent :)

Boardwalk is well maintained and the walk was beautiful. Be prepared! Very dry and hot. The sign predicted 45 minutes but took my partner and I about 30 minutes.

The walk is on a board walk to protect the environment and to stop you getting lost, the walk is circular and easy to navigate.

Beautiful stroll along the board walk so much to see and hear. Only problem is the midgies so make sure you spray well before walking. Can be very hot and humid. Great for young and old.

The board walk was awesome. At night the little frogs with 'glowing' green eyes', a memory. I slipped on a large leaf on the board walk, my sandal fell into the bog, returned at sunrise, found it 4 ft into the forest, a memory. Laying on the beach I saw camels appear from the forest, at low tide you see coral reef, rainforest, beach, all combine for a top 5 memory for me. Cheers

An easy walk just south of Noah Beach. Forest revegetating after extreme cyclone damage. Walk is flat so is suitable for older exploredrs, best to go early before tourist buses arrive ar late in day.

This is a great easy walk, all duckboarded and very doable for wheelchairs and strollers. Takes you along the floor of the rainforest where you can experience great umbrella fan palms, strangler vines, mangroves and butterflys.

We really liked all the boardwalks that we walked while visiting the Daintree region. It was interesting to read about the mangrove swamps, plants, and wildlife. It is wheelchair accessible. I wish we had seen a cassowary while in the region, though.

Interesting short boardwalk loop around the freshwater swamps and mangroves that leads to the expansive and deserted Myall Beach. Easy pushchair/wheelchair access and informative signs about the flora and wildlife.

Lovely wandering walk taking you through the trees; a nice, safe way of seeing the different flora & fauna. Unfortunately we didn't spot the cassowary family!

Happened upon the boardwalk off the beach, and what an awesome little stroll. Saw a four o'clock moth, an Arafura Fantail, an Eastern Reef Egret and even a Cassowary. We went back after dark to do the walk again by torchlight, and were rewarded with a gorgeous little tree mouse, and few little brown jobs, as yet unidentified and the most stunning stripped possum. For a free walk it's well worth the money. If you are interested in the nature, birds and animals, i'd suggest going at an off peak time to avoid the noisy walkers.

This was a great way to see the rainforest, actually going through it at ground level with a wide range of tree types, mostly flat but with small uphills and downs, creeks as well, and very manageable with little kids (under 8 yrs old).

Did this short (1.2km) boardwalk after the Discovery Centre hoping to see some wildlife. Whilst we saw some amazing butterflies, turkeys(??), and a turtle I strongly expect anything else hid from our thudding 3 children anxious to reach the beach! The mangroves and twisted vines are fascinating and I'm sure if you have no children and took a little longer to walk through you'll find lots of interesting things! Lovely Myall beach at the end with some rock pools to explore.
