Drift snorkeling was incredible , the marine life and water pristine . We saw many turtles . Rays and eels along with beautiful reef fish, no sharks thankfully. Most beautiful place I have visited.

I think it's the most beautiful place to snorkel; the area is so well protected that you can swim like "in an aquarium" we saw a turtle swimming gently, a sea snake, a ray and 3 dolphins! I don't talk about the myriad of colorful fishes or the lavender coral... Take a breath and dive on this paradise! There are good companies to sail & snorkel.

A wonderful marine national park that is situated righ adjacent to the beach. It contains great sea life including Manta Rays, Dugongs etc.

Ningaloo Reef has amazing biodiversity - take a snorkel off Coral Bay or Cape Range National Park and you will come across turtles, whale sharks (seasonal), mantarays, sharks, and all kinds of fish!

Everyone traveling in Australia thinks the reef is the one close to Cairns and the movie Finding Nemo contributed to this fact. The Reef in Cairns is definitively beautiful I agree, but the Ningaloo one is very different and even more interesting to me. This is the wildest of wild place in Australia and would be a terrible sin to miss it

It's really the perfect spot to go and see marine live. Near Exmouth there is this beach called turquoise bay where you can literally walk out to the reef. It's breathtaking! We also went on trips to go snorkeling with manta rays (from Coral Bay, cost about 170$ pp) and whale sharks (from Exmouth, 360$ pp) and both experiences where amazing. In Exmouth you can also go diving from the Navy Pier (260$ pp for a day and a night dive). It is really cool there because of all the different animals you get to see. It's definetly worth to travel here. There is just too much cool stuff to see to describe it all here.

Surreal experience to see the marine life so close to shore in this world heritage listed park. A myriad of different sea creatures live beneath the ocean and it was a privilege to see this part of the world. WA takes great pleasure in protecting this beautiful area and to swim with whale sharks and other creatures was wonderful.

So much variety in the marine life and everything so untouched. The locals don't take their privilege of living "on" the reef for granted.

The whole marine park is just beautiful and in our own state, what more could you ask for. We swam with Whale Sharks, green sea turtles, coral and 1000's of fish. Then saw Humpback Whales, just breath taking.

You must take the time to visit this unforgettable attraction. The coral, the amazing, abundant and colourful fish life is magnificent. Crystal clear water, and white sandy beaches. All you need is your snorkel and flippers, or take a glass bottomed boat if your prefer.

Ningaloo Reef is the only fringing coral reef in Australia. Access to it's beautiful turquoise coloured waters and spectacular marine life is just a walk down the white sandy beaches, no boat required. The snorkelling is first class and in my opinion you can't beat Coral Bay as the place to set up camp. The reef out from Coral Bay is beautiful and because it's a sanctuary the fish will greet you with open fins (all 500 different species of them). There's also corals that are only found at Ningaloo such as the "dreadlock coral" and "Lavender coral" both of which are really interesting their colour and structure. For organised tours, I'd recommend Coral Bay Ecotours. Friendly and helpful staff and great value for money!Enjoy your time emersed in the clear waters of Ningaloo.

Just the best snorkelling, only have to wade out into waist deep water to have beautiful fish swimming around you

At Coral Bay we snorkelled with Manta Rays, Reef Sharks, Green turtles and close up of Dugongs, dolphins and so many different corals. Ticked all the boxes!
