This is a good place to stop and get information about the surrounding area. We walked here as it is in the town off the main street. Inside the main building are some interesting exhibits and a friendly staff person who can answer questions about the park and give directions as well.It is worth a visit and the grounds in spring are lovely.

The place has very nice gardens with many flowers and typical trees. It is a good place to enjoy a walk around and to learn about the place and its first settlers

Took a trip out to Moreno Glacier everything was awesome amazing vistas and great experience. The trip is about a 8-9 hour trip the bus will pick you up at your hotel and drop you back off.

This was the highlight of our trip to Argentina - the chance to get up onto a glacier, to gaze into the crystal blue water, and to have a special treat of whiskey on the rocks with glacial ice was fantastic. Don't miss this!

Los Glaciares National Park is one of the most fascinating places I´ve ever been to. It´s in the province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. The place I liked the most was the village of El Chaltén. I had the chance to walk on the surface of The Torre Glacier. One of the most fascinating experiences I´ve ever had.

This small park is not wildly exciting but is fun to spend a little time in during your stay in El Calafate lovely flowers in season and some photogenic statues and insight into history

When we visited Los Glaciares we had the opportunity to go on a day tour which included viewing Perito Moreno from a viewpoint, a boat trip on the glacier lake and a 1.5 hour walk on the glacier. We had a fantastic time and the wonderful experience in seeing no less than 5 big calvings in the 2 hours we spent on the viewpoint.

Agree with the reviewers from Montreal. A nice parklike walk through trees and flowers in downtown El Calafate. Some significant historical facts about events and people referenced in outdoor sculptured displays and plagues. Inside the park office was a book that was very informative on the history of the National Park, the glaciers, wildlife and birds. Great to see if you have time; however, skip it if you do not.

Interesting to see the different trees explained, a nice parklike walk while in downtown El Calafate, funky displays of Perito Moreno, Darwin and such made out of fiberglass and recycled materials, a few clunky pieces of metal and there you go… You've been! Hope this review was helpful!!!

This National Park is a "must see" for anyone who visits Argentina. All the glaciers here are awesome, incredible and unique. Also the place is very safe and the services in all the touristic areas and trips are very good and set up to International standards. Highly recommended!

With a small outsider path through a garden, where one can learn some of the few facts and recente history related with the Parque Nacional Los laciares, this "Intendência" provides inside its main house all the information needed to know a litle more about the fauna and flora of the region .Friendly employees can tell you something more than one may before have learn about the Nature and Wildlife of the region .A must !
