Picture-postcard perfect, this Town Hall in Old Town (Altstadt) Dusseldorf was built in the 1500's and looks like it has not diminished in its commanding presence and its old world charm. The sculpture of Prince-elector Johann-Willem riding a horse completes this picture-worthy sight. Jan-Willem, as he is known to locals, was an art lover and during his term, the city enjoyed a period of prosperity during which special attention was paid to the arts.

A nice town hall that is worth checking out as part of your visit to Dusseldorf's Old Town. Good spot for photos. Very nice at Christmas with a nice market by it.

The old heart of a city that has been extensively modernised since 1945. Dominated by an impressive equestrian statue of Johann Wilhelm (Jan Willem) II, Elector Palatine (19 April 1658 – 8 June 1716). It is surrounded on two sides by very comfortable street cafés.

A very interesting building in the centre of the Altstadt and quite a hub for events. There are beautiful flowers hung from the windows and the whole place gives a feeling of order

For the most part, every town's Rathaus is pretty sharp looking. We always visit the Rathaus and take a few pics then compare it to others we've visited. The one is Dusseldorf has an air of old world royalty and the cities banners flying all around really makes the scene look sharp. I found myself taking pictures of it over and over each time we passed. It's definitely worth the visit.

when i was walking in Altstadt i saw diffrent old building with statue called Rathaus.it is unique part in the old town but i do not like carbage box near the statue the statue open is in the morning and closed after noon.there are diffrent bars,resturant,cafes near the building you should stay and enjoy the moment.

Das Rathaus in Düsseldorf verwundert am Anfang. Ich hatte es einfach größer erwartet. Aber es ist wirklich sehr schön und super erhalten. Auch der Platz vor dem Gebäude ist sauber, ordentlich und schön gestaltet. Wenn dann noch die Flaggen vor dem Rathaus wehen und die Sonne scheint ist das Flair perfekt!Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Zur einen Seite fast am Burgplatz und dem Rhein und auf der anderen Seite die Altstadt sowie die Fußgängerzone mit den vielen Bars und Restaurants. Dennoch ist es ruhig und man kann an diesem Platz eine schöne Pause machen.

Если сравнивать в другими Rathaus Германии - эта немного приземиста, но довольно симпатична . Расположена в Старом городе , площадь перед ратушей выложена брусчаткой , что придает этому месту особый колорит. От ратуши ведут многочисленные улочки , которые сами по себе не менее интересны.
