    博物馆很小,是贝多芬的故居改建,但比较精致,对贝多芬生平介绍得很详细,有中文简介图册,感觉很贴心,游客也不少,贝多芬并不是成名于此,然而波恩却以音乐天才的故乡为傲。

The facility was beautiful, and the simplicity of the room in which Beethoven was born was resounding. We did not get the audio guides, but used the written pamphlets given. My children learned quite a bit, but I would have liked to see furniture that would have been there in his time. There were many great instruments, handwritten music, ear trumpets, and letters. There was an interactive room with computers that we did not visit, as it looked like a well-appointed computer lab. We felt that our children get enough computers and so did not go into that portion of the exhibit. I would have liked to know more about his personal life, his family, etc. Overall, we enjoyed the visit and each found historical facts that we could take away from this fascinating, talented man.

the museum is in overall very good condition, however more description for english language visitors would help. The interactive part in a separate building across the yard especially appealed to our 12 year old who really enjoyed learning about the great composer this way. Unfortunately wheelchair access is not possible...but that is not really surprising in such an old historic building...and there really wouldn't be any place to put an elevator, so my wheelchair using partner got the chance to catch up on his coffee deficit at a nearby cafe and spent some quiet time in the garden and assures me he was still glad we went.

The house is a bit hidden, but with but if help easy to find, staff was very friendly, inside the museum you get to learn a lot about Beethoven and that era. Everything was impressive, ur not allowed to take pics but that's fine with me.

It was interesting, good value for money but not much to do. Glad I went to it but wouldn't go again.

It's interesting to see if you are in Bonn and have an hour to kill, but I sure wouldn't make a special trip for it! I wish his music were piped throughout the house.

Beethoven's birth house (and a small garden) turned into museum, fascinating place with preserved unique documents and objects- it gives you an insight to Beethoven's life not only as a composer but also as a child, his first steps in music world, through the adolescence and challenges and success he achieved as a world-famous composer. It's also remarkable to learn how this house was saved from destruction. I'd strongly recommend renting the audioguide, which is available in different languages as the commentary is very interesting and accompanied by Beethoven's music. The tour is interactive as you can visit the studio and using the latest technology listen to all his works, visit some virtual exhibitions dedicated to the composer and have a look at digitally reconstructed apartment in Vienna where Beethoven spent his last days. There's also a programme for children called 'Hello Beethoven' .The gift shop has a wide range of books, albums, gifts and souvenirs for every pocket. Museum staff was very friendly and helpful. Tickets for the tour are not expensive at all and you can spend good couple of hours in this place. Great experience indeed!

This is the house where Beethoven was born and where he lived in Bonn. It isn't a very big house, but when visiting it, you can learn a lot from Beethoven and his life. If you have enough time, you can book a Beethoven concert there too... musicians play in a small room and it is almost a private concert... something different to do!

nice building, gives good overview of his life but missed music - you only had music when you rented a auto guide

Visiting the home where Beethoven was born was a great experience from the original house to many instruments. Right downtown Bonn. Beautiful city

It was a nice experience, you get to see some historical items from Beethoven's life, read and learn a bit, not an overwhelming experience but it's kind of special in its own way.

From the moment when Beethoven was born, when taken to the room where he born, an amazing journey to walk through his home and be shown the highlights of his life.Equipped with a pamphlet, detailing the displays in every room, or if listening by audio the audience walk side by side with him.The computer room is what I enjoyed most, as there were programmes for adults and children, alike, to enjoy listening to his pieces, read through and see some pictures as well as given the opportunity to send family/friends an e-mail, which included a quote, a picture and a choice of one of his pieces of music. The shop, too, was lovely, which not only included CDs, but also some manuscripts of some of his work.

Cute house packed with interesting articles. I took a group of American students and they thought it was awesome to see this museum.

Looking around the birthplace of Beethoeven, one struggled to find anything of relevance. Along the lines of "this is the painting owned by the neighbour of a friend of Beethoven's parents" was hardly an uplifting experience. The whole display was limited in it's "wow" value and was not very lovelingly prepared. My family, who are real Beethoven fans, were very disappointed. The only good thing was the toilets (which were clean). I won't be returning and I couldn't recommend a visit.

I am born in the same town as the Ludwig van Beethoven, Bonn at the River Rhine. Presence accompanies me as long as I can think. I highly recommend to visit the Beethoven house. You will not only get a taste of how life was at Beethoven's times here, you even can visit the room where he was born, a small chamber where a a genius life began. Take a moment of silence there and feel the breath of history. In the small museum many things from the masters posessions are shown. Some pianos he used and, quite touching, lots of hearing devices as he tried literally everything to get away from being totally deaf (even medicine that ruined his health). The "Heiligenstädter Testament" ist displayed there to, which, although adressed to his brothers, in fact is a letter from Beethoven to the world, explaining how he suffers from his disease: "O you men who think or say that I am malevolent, stubborn or misanthropic, how greatly do you wrong me, you do not know the secret" ... This is a perfect place to honour a great man.
