This is a spectacular walk by the rocky coast just outside Genova. You can reach Genova Nervi easily by train or by bus. The railway station is right by the sea, so you can't miss the passeggiata. You have several options for coffee or an aperitivo with splendid views. In summer, there are places where you can have a swimm, although it is rather rocky and no shade except for umbrellas. Well worth a half day when you are in Genova.

This place is fantastic all the seasons. In winter time in a sunny day you can have sunset unforgettable everyday different. If you love the sea the cost is amazing with all kind of weather.

The view is awesome, the trail is right by the sea, It's a very romantic walk, so it is recommended for couples. There are terraces along the way if you want to admire the view and drink something.

live here since I was born, i've never find a place more peaceful and romantic like this. You can walk for hours on the sea, the park nearby is wonderful too, if you come to Italy, Liguria, you really should visit Nervi to relax! In the park you can find many attractions for children or, if you are a couple, you can relax on a bench or on the grass =)

You wouldn't believe it's December. And you wouldn't believe this place is for free, for everyone to enjoy. Its southern exposure and the fact that it is made of bricks makes this scenic walk along the coast exceptionally warm in the Winter. What a pleasure to stroll above the rocky coast, admire the kayakers and the distant ships while you make your way to Capo Lungo. The little pebble beach at the end is the perfect reward for the morning walk, dotted with small fishing boats and the odd tourist. And on your way back to Nervi, stop for lunch at one of the casual restaurants. Relax, take in the view, enjoy Italy at its best.

We got off of the train and spent time here, enjoying the contemplation of life. The park nearby was worth spending several hours enjoying for what was a pleasant afternoon.

We walked along the coast for about forty minutes or so at sunset, the view was absolutely magnificent! Many restaurants offering a variety of fresh fish and typical Genovese dishes can be found along the promenade and offers many benches along the way for those who want to rest and enjoy the view.

We did this walk yesterday on a lovely day with no wind and blue skies. It was magnificent!I had a brief swim by the Blue Marlin restaurant and then a yummy lunch.

I find this way when I was visiting friends in Genoa. Is a beautiful pathway, relaxing, with lovely views. Perfect Place for long walk. Personally I prefer to walk there in winter season when there are not so many tourist. But anyway is really nice place.

My family and I walked along this path for hours last weekend. Absolutely stunning! It connects to the rocky beaches and a Parco di Nervi, which has a huge playground for kids.

A lovely walk by the sea. Italy doesn't get much better than this. Don't bother with the Cinque Terre just go to Nervi!!

A glorious walk along the coast of the Ligurian Sea. Beautiful views of rocky inlets and dotted with cafes to pause at. Is a little hilly at times but the central section near the train station is fairly flat.

We took the train to Genoa Nervi from the Principe Station, for which journey you can use an easily purchased AMT pass, which seems to cover all local public transport, except the Airport Bus.The Nervi station is effectively half way along the Passeggiata, so we turned eastward and walked to the end, which was in itself a nice little village beach area, and then walked back all the way to the westward end, from where we simply caught a Bus 15 to visit Boccadasse. The coastal views can only be described as beautiful, with the broad pavement being easy and well maintained, with good railings to guard the cliff edges. There's also plenty of nice cafes and bars along the route, if the mood takes you.We would have rated the Passeggiata as being Excellent, but have marked it down slightly because there are a few disused attractions along it that haven't been maintained, or at least kept tidy. That said, do go - its all very Italian, and a great experience.
