if you visit the vatican you must go see the treasury.you pay a ticket 5-7 euros cant remember exactly but it is worth it especially if you enjoy things you barely see!!

It's an amazing experience to see the priceless treasures of the Vatican. Book your tickets in advance so you can avoid the lines. They get very, very long.

We visited primarily to see the Sistine chapel as, I suspect most people do. We were warned of huge queues and offered many 'skip the line' deals which were about 30-50 euros. We walked straight in, no line and purchased tickets for 16 Euros each. The galleries were amazing and so vast you could spend all day there. There are lots of people but this is to be expected. The Sistine itself is breathtaking, and I had a sore neck from looking up by the time I left. Definitely worth a look.

Well worth a visit but do book your tickets online. However, there is definitely a moral question here. The assets of the Church is rich beyond anybody's imagination and one wonders why the Church is still seeking alms/donations/contributions, etc., especially from the poor. The wealth can be put to such good use, to level the disparity between the haves and the have nots within their own community. Do visit but view art as art in itself.

Well worth a visit as is all the Vatican. However if you are a person who questions the injustice to the poor and the churches roll in history don't go. It is impressive and beautiful but the moral questions I feel it raises are huge. As a tourist attraction I would ratebthid as a must do. A word of warning if you want to go to the museums and the sistene chapel book advance tickets online. It's the same price but you go direct to the front of the queue. Saved us 90 mins wait!

There is so much church art in this building you could fill dozens of churches. It is very beautiful, there are just so many people you can hardly turnaround.

This area is near the sacristy and there is a rather hefty charge and really not much to see except for the specialist. It contains priceless items of historical significance connected with the Basicla but for the average tourist is not worth the price of entry.

Its beautiful too see the ceiling and the entire place but get a bit boring at the end. Its get a bit crowded as a little part if being renovated.

Reservation for guided tour is too short, she spent too much time in the hall of museum. More time should be with exhibitions.

The Vatican knows how to do gold. This treasury holds many of the exquisite pieces given as gifts to the popes or used in ceremonies, the altar clothes for past popes, relics, etc. it is in the back of St. Peter's Basilica and requires separate paid entry. Allow time for this because you do not see it until you have made the full round through the church.

We visited the treasury and found it an addition expense to the visit but in our opinion worth the extra as there was lots to see of interest also remember within the original price visit the Appel transport.

It's absolutely impressive the ammount of treasures and arts the vatican beholds, If you are like me, a fan of arts, then you should leave your beliefs behind and go visit the Vatican for sure!!!!! This is a place where so much of our history is archived is a mind blowing experience and should not be missed!

Out of the way but such a find. It was an extra fee and not included in the Vatican museum entrance fee. It was beautiful and filled with things we might not always think of when we think of a treasury. So much opulence. It's small but there are so many small pieces to the collection that it was worth a look around. There aren't any photos aloud in this area. They also have a great collection of newer and very old pieces.

A little cheeky that the ticket for the treasury needs to be bought in addition to the normal entry but in my opinion worth every penny just to see the opulence and extravagance with regards to some of the old gifts to the Vatican, the diamonds / ruby’s / emeralds!!
