We are so glad that we researched and purchased tickets online for the Slovak Philharmonic. The concert hall is fluffy white with gold trim that you want to eat with a spoon. We attended a concert of Ligeti, Prokofiev and a Dvorak cello concerto played by Dai Miyata, a 2009 Rostropovich award winner. Conductor Leos Svarovsky conducted his orchestra with great joy and verve. Miyata became the music and treated us to a passionate performance. The seats are comfortable, the acoustics perfect and the mostly local audience was polite and appreciative. The best tickets were a ridiculous 11 euros. How do they afford to pay these professional musicians? If you get the chance, go.

A night I shall always remember. A fabulous Russian pianist and a full house. Comfortable seats and great service. An 'old school' feeling of calm and quality. The interior of the building is immaculate, clean well maintained and a credit to Bratislava.

The place is gorgeous and it was packed! We bought our tickets in advance and I recommend doing that. The concert started at 7pm sharp. It lasted 2 hours and the program was about Tchaikovsky. Awesome! The seats are not that comfortable, but the music is so perfect that you don't think of them! The most memorable night in quiet and beautiful Bratislava.

On Feb,18th the Tchaikovsky was conduct by Alexander Rahbari. The concert was perfect, on time and well organized. Do not loose the opportunity to appreciate the classic music there.

My partner and I had a night out on our short trip to Bratislava. It was our first time at a Philharmonic and would highly recommend it to people of all ages. We are a young couple (23 & 21), but loved the whole experience. As my job entails lots of loud music (general manager of 4 night clubs) I have found myself becoming drawn to classical music and after witnessing the Slovak Philharmonic, my love for this genre has grown.

New Years concert was amazing. About 30 musicians in the orchestra, great interaction with the audience. Very attractive price for such a 1st class performance!

This Orchestra is a high quality experience in a beautifully restored symphony hall. The tickets are inexpensive and the quality is outstanding. People even come from Vienna to experience this orchestra. If you are in Bratislava a, get a ticket for 6E and enjoy wonderful music.

The program of Korngold, Strauss, and Chausson was excellent. The Chausson ...piano,violin and string quartet was superb!

We were walking and just passing by when we entered, asked if they had some tickets for the evening performance and were very lucky to find 2 great sits for just 11 € each. The concert was superb, and very good to see so many locals there. The bar sells wine and a typical Slovakia bread that was very interesting and helped us to go through the concert during our usual dinner time ☺️

The performance was excellent and we had the opportunity of discovering the works of two Slovack composers who are extremely seldom included in music programs. The building is very nice as well.Tickets were more than affordable.

Ben tenuto (strano!) e probabilmente ristrutturato di recente.
