    sefton park在利物浦市区南面步行大概半小时,规模很大里面有小山丘小湖和大量的树木草坪,有很多的散步和健身的居民。晚上有时候还有烟火表演,因为场地够大在英国还是实属难得的。

This Is a vast area of greenery to stroll, run, play etc. ideal for children and adults alike. No shortage of open spaces but felt the Italian Brasserie a little overpriced for tea and coffee.

We came across Sefton Park unintentionally while driving around looking for a park to have a picnic in before our bus tour of Liverpool, and how glad we are to have found it! From what I remember, it's a bit of a way from the centre (but not too far), but if you have the time or you have a car, it's definitely worth a visit. There is more than one entrance, so look carefully which one is best to enter depending on what you want to do. For example, we went through one entrance to sit on the grass for our picnic, then drove around to another entrance for the boating lake. You can hire a pedalo for £5 which you get for about 30 minutes, I think. We didn't stay in it that long since it was very tiring and there's quite a bit of grassy things in the water, but definitely good fun if you plan to spend a couple of hours in the park. There are toilets near the lake too, but they didn't have any toilet roll in them when we went (but few of these parks ever do!). Also a little ice cream and drinks place if you want to buy a snack.

Sefton park has a lot of history and monuments. There's a nice boat lake. It's very clear and provides a nice place to sit in peace and calm

We visited Sefton Park in July 2014. What can I say - I live in rural Ireland, and at that my four children were completely blown away with this glorious park. It is a such a gem, and I know the people of Liverpool hold it with great affection. We walked and walked - everyone we met had the time of day for us and were extremely chatty. The swing park within the main body of the park is beautifully done, and after you've finished on the swing you can get a drink or food in the restaurant in the park. There are events in the Palm House - check the calendar, and free tennis lessons on a Sunday at the courts on the edge of the park. Also, MAKE SURE you go to Lark Lane (opposite the park) and enjoy the restaurants, shops, and a great sense of bohemian community. The Lake in the park is enormous and do look to the skies, as we saw parakeets - a flash of green delighted our young children.Just go - it's a great park, in a great city, with great people. Oh, and visit the Peter Pan statue (it's the same as the one in Kensington Park). We're heading back this year - can't wait.

Lovely park with huge grassy areas. Lovely for a walk or a jog. Lark Lane is right by it so is a nice route to take if you are headed there

Me and my friend came on the off chance , we were supposed to go to another park and rent bikes from a private company but when we phoned they had to close early. Well we decided to go Sefton park instead for a walk around but when we got here we decided to rent the city bikes, we had a brilliant time riding around the park lots to look at on the way. We then Finished at the cafe and got a drink before heading home. It was such a fun day.

This is a beautiful and peaceful part of the city. Great for walks around the lake. My nan used to take me here when I was young and I've never tired of the place. It's well looked after and a lovely part of Liverpool's history. Keep an eye out in summertime for some great events going on. Recommended.

Visit Sefton Park two or three times every week to walk our dogs. Beautiful vistas from different areas of the park. The Victorian Palm House is a gem in the park and was restored to its former glory several years ago. It's a fabulous venue for a wedding, however many other events are held there during the year e.g. tea dances, concerts, fund-raising events. It's a beautiful park to visit, with tennis courts, a bowling club, two cafes, a restaurant and a purpose built playground for children. At various times of the year the Liverpool Food Festival, African Music Festival and other large scale events are held on the revue field in the park.

Enjoyed a lovely walk around Sefton park before going a meal on Lark lane. Plenty of parking places on the side of the road near by.

Taking daughter to uni, to where I went over 30 years ago. Park is huge but looks as though it needs some tender loving care, especially around the lake which was very green...too many Canada geese etc polluting it! God to see it gets used for foodie venues though, as well as the fireworks displays still in November.
