It was just an okay tour! You can't take photos of the inside and they say on the Website, cookies are part of the tour, well, we never got any refreshments (cookies) That was a letdown. Still great hearing about Juliette's history though.

We visited Juliette's house on the ghost tour. Cool place and garden and great staff and good stories.

As a former Girl Scout, I loved hearing about this multi-faceted, strong and self-sufficient woman. The home was beautiful, and it wasn't too much for this non-museum person. We were stuck behind a very slow group, so our group had to do a lot of standing around waiting. Other than that, it was a great tour.

I enjoyed the tour. It was a small group (about 10 adults). The house is very beautiful, and it is very clear Juliette Gordon Low was a very accompilsed women. A few of her orgional artworks are on dispaly throughout the house. The only downside is you are not allowed to take pictures.

The setting is really nice. We sat in an upstairs room that was quiet and romantic. The server was really attentive. We had some of the onion rings for an appetizer. Their special, the fried flounder is excellent. Also the apple pie dessert is one of the best i have had anywhere. Would definitely go back.

As a former Girl Scout I had hoped one day to visit our founder's birthplace. I was not disappointed. All of the furnishings were from the Gordon family. I most impressed with her paintings and sculptures.

If you were a girl scout you must stop at Juliette Gordon Low's Birthplace. It is really a special place and it was an honor to tour her home!!!

Stopped at the Juliette Gordon Low house on a trolley tour around Savannah. I had read such good reviews before going and didn't know anything about her and the history of the house before hand. This was the most interesting and educational part of my Savannah trip. Our tour guide, Marie, was very informative and interesting. She knew EVERYTHING about Juliette's life, family and the house. Someone in our tour group kept asking quite obscure questions and Marie had an answer for everything! This house reminded me of an American Downtown Abbey. I also liked how close you can get to everything in the house (without touching things). We were able to walk right into the rooms as opposed to other houses that rope off rooms or items in rooms. I would definitely go back and recommend this as a must see in Savannah.

Went on a Old time trolley "Ghost & Gravestones" tour that included an evening tour stop at this house. It was fun & interesting & would recommend it!

My wife, a former girl scout, dragged me to this house - and I was glad she did. We arrived roughly ten minutes before the next tour, purchased our tickets and proceeded to watch the movie. (Arrive earlier if you want to see the entire movie.) We overheard the ticket sellers inform a thirty-something couple, the tour was unsuitable for their toddler and they would be asked to leave - without a refund - if she got out of the stroller or tried to touch the walls, furniture, etc. - they purchased tickets anyway. Well, two guides escorted our group to the next level. Wouldn't you know it? The toddler climbed out of her stroller in the first room and ran her hands along the wall, the second tour guide escorted the family off the tour, and the rest of the tour went on. The younger tour guide continued on with the group, explaining the life of Juliet Gordon Lowe, her unhappy marriage, and the history of the Girl Scouts. The home is absolutely beautiful, the furnishing exquisite, the guides knowledgeable, and it's probably the most beautiful home, among many, in Savannah. So, alot the time, leave preschool children at home, and be purchase the Preservation Pass before visiting for $21.00 per adult, before visiting.

This home was a great home to visit. The price was VERY reasonable and inside was very appointed with antiques that are original to the home and appropriate for the time period. We caught a strange picture in a mirror, i hope it was not a ghost. lol

This is well done with many lovely portraits and furnishings. It also claims to have spirits that make their presence known; unfortunately, we did not encounter that experience.

There are many historic homes to see in Savannah. I just chose this one because of who lived here. Photos are prohibited inside so you will need lots of memory in your head to see everything.

I'm giving this place 3 stars because I was only able to see the main floor. The "ghost" tour I was on made a brief stop and rushed us through the first floor to give us a taste of the house. We were offered a discount on tickets if we wanted to come back the next day, however, we were leaving in the morning as we were heading to Florida. I would've loved to see the entire house especially for the price we paid for the tour.

My last visit here was 37 years ago when I was 13 and a Junior Girl Scout. It was just as much fun as I remembered it then. The tour was nice and allows full access to all rooms. The garden was beautiful and had lots of photo ops. Don't skip the silent movie at the beginning of the tour. It was made by Juliet Gordon Low herself and is a hoot! The gift store is nice but I wish it had more gifts that were specific to Juliette Gordon Low rather than just Girl Scouting!
