My friend found a reference to this unique little museum in the Yuma, AZ Visitors Guide. Yes, you need to call for an appointment for a tour. YES, it is worth it!!! Yvonne Peach deserves a lot of thanks for making such a wonderful display of all the momentos of not only the first motel in AZ, but items from her in-laws' home and of their occupations. After your tour, have lunch or dinner at The Landings Restaurant next door and spend time looking at the MANY photographs of early Yuma. There is so much history behind each picture. (The Coronado Motel would be a lovely place to spend a few nights and is reasonably priced!!)
