kane county flea market

This flea market had a wide variety of items for sale. Flowers, food, crafts, antiques, etc. All the vendors were friendly and the location was good. Parking was good, but I think the admission fee of $5.00/person was a little much, but everyone has to make money.

The Kane County Flea Market is a real gem! Numerous buildings and stalls full of finds for your next repurposing project or rainy day. Lots of unique vintage and antique items. Truly a stall for everyone! From sports memorabilia to jewelry to antique frames and doors, the Kane County Flea Market makes for a great summer day planning projects and imagining the new purposes that can be given to old objects. Don't forget to stop in one of the buildings at the back for Superior Nut and Candy Company's booth; excellent prices on chocolates, nuts and candies. Numerous stops for food and clean bathrooms. Sandy-dirt gravel ground, so I recommend you don't wear your flip flops. $5 admission charge, first Sunday of the month and the preceding Saturday, March to November.

I'm a flea market regular and this one was great. Not a lot of junk vendors. Good original artisan pieces and genuine antiques and collectibles. You might want to take a portable shopping cart as it covers a lot of territory. Only open once a month. We went early on Sunday morning and that was ideal. Food vendors were good also.
