Flanagans is racist . me an my wife went there and the new owner asked me I"need to get a drink and leave." The couple next to us and others Didnt have a drink nether. I informed the owner that my wife i went up and was getting us a drink. The new owner never talked to the other couples About getting a drink or leaving as a matter of fact the couple beside us never got a drink or food since we were there. When we confronted the owner he said he didnt not care and threatened to call the police, wow.

Just a few blocks from the coast, Flanagan's is the perfect place to find a bowl of potato soup, a bit of Shephard's Pie or just great pub drinks and music. The atmosphere is as close as you'll get to Ireland, with rich colors and a warm, inviting environment. Trina, Noel and Dale do a great job and you can relax knowing you're supporting a local family and a small business.

I have been to this place many of times. The live music and beer is very good. The Musician is from Ireland himself and usually strums a guitar with nobody else in a band. It really has a nice cozy feel to it too and the staff is very friendly.

This is an Irish PUB - very small and intimate. Great bar service - so friendly and welcoming to not only regulars. But, new comer's as well!They offer several beer's on tap - allowing a free taste if you're not familiar with them. They also offer some traditional Irish dishes that are very tasty.If ever in Dunedin this little place is a very enjoyable stop.
