This was one of the coolest experiences i have ever had on the beach!!!! Daytona is the number one beach i have ever been too. We actually got to drive next to the water! we parked and sat in front of our vehicles. It was so awesome. I have never done that before so it was really thrilling.

Gorgeous...was really warm and beautiful. The wind was refreshing.people really friendly. Ice cream at the pier...awesome.

This beach is very flat with very uniform sand that is packed hard enough that vehicles can drive on it. There are virtually no sharp shells, seaweed, rocks etc. on the beach so it is great for walking. There were hundreds of jellyfish washed up on the beach; I didn't swim in the water but I imagine that could be an issue!

A new experience for us driving onto a beach and parking up to sunbathe.I thought at first the $10 charge was a bit steep but realised that it would cost the same in most car parks in the area so was happy to pay.weather was the usual Florida sunshine but with a cooling breeeze from the Ocean.we met an amazing couple who had travelled with their own camper from Germany and had also driven to S Africa,real adventurers.After leaving the beach we toured the souvenir shops had a meal and returned to our hotel for a good nights rest.

Too many seagulls in the area, street people! Nearly a rundown area in the next few years. The weather didn't help much, but still, I could see it's an area with much wind and cold water.

The weather was perfect for beach going. The was easy to walk on sand and it as really clean It was very romantic in the lateevening as the sun went down.

Great to be able to park on the beach for $10 all day. You can stroll up town for a few hours then return for a dip in the sea. But today it was a bit too cool in the sea. Nice white sandy beach and plenty of spaces to park

Daytona Beach is awesome to visit. The sand here is hard and compacted, unlike most beaches, so you can take motor vehicles onto the beach, which was mind boggling. My boyfriend then shared that they used to race on the beach. We collected sea shells on our walk which went further than we anticipated. There is a lot of seagulls and their poop. Yuck!

This beach area allows cruising, has beach toy rentals and is completely safe. It is also patrolled by the local police. I traveled alone, and always felt secure.

LOVE Daytona Beach. White sand, blue water. What's not to like? Daytona Beach is my new favoite beach. Love to walk along late at night or early in the morning and pick up seashells. Great place for adults and kids.

You can see a beautiful sunrise. You can see a beautiful moonrise. You can see the beautiful array of stars in the sky. And see the majestic pelicans fly in groups of up to 10 to 6 along the crashing waves you can see what I mean on youtube at Alvin at the Cross and look for Gods Beautiful Creations Then you might want to see all of those other ones. There is only one video no talking just the birds and the ocean.

we love walking along a beach like this. I'm sure we walked 5 miles north and back again in the one day we were there!

Our first time at Daytona Beach......how wonderful! Great beach, great nightlife,many dining options, wonderful accommodations......one must drive on the beach too to experience this once-in-a-lifetime treat.
