Finally had the opportunity to see a winery that we had never been to. Accoding to our literature, Tarsitano Winery was scheduled to be open when we arrived. No one, I mean no one was in the winery. We walked around the building for a while, and otherwise just hung out for about 15 minutes, hoping someone would see us and open the winery. No luck. We left.

Prior to visiting Tarsitano, we viewed its website and thought it would be a good match. There is no longer a Café only a Wine Tasting Room with Snacks. The owner was not present since he also has a winery in Florida. The Café closed because the owner had back problems and couldn't handle the food as he had in past. The wines were okay. They didn't seem consistent more like a bottle of wine you may get from the local grocery store. We did buy a bottle or two but that was about it. If you like Sweet wine, this may be more to your liking. The place is clean and neat and we looked like we were the only one there.
