majestic theater

The theater offers a variety of performances and some are excellent other raw. The facility is a gem in town and when you see a performance offered that is of interest, it's worth the time and money.

Like many old theaters across America, the Majestic was threatened with destruction in favor of something more contemporary or "profitable." Fortunately, Corvallis has lots of brave, hardy souls who put their money and their energies where their mouths were and saved the Majestic for events which enrich the community. Corvallis owes these mostly unknown, selfless people a debt of perpetual gratitude.

Lovingly restored, with a wonderful breadth of shows. Comfortable seating and every seat a great view. They serve local treats as well as beer and wine during the intermissions.

The shows here are always not bad. I haven't been there in a really long time. The theater is a bit small.

Small theatre in the heart of downtown Corvallis. Easy walking distance to the river. Come early, walk along the river, then enjoy a theatrical performance for a wonderful evening.
