bella vida winery

My daughter and I went wine tasting in Dundee. I wanted to go to Bella Vida Winery. I am writing the review because those who visit need to know we couldn't get her Corolla up the hill in order to reach the winery. She has a five speed and we got to a certain point that the tires just spun and spun the roads is not paved it is dirt and little rocks . I have read the views are stunning and I bet they are but get a four wheeler or jeep To go!!!!

Nice winery with stunning views from the balcony. For the $15 tasting fee, you will get to sample 4 wines - which all have a high price point individually. The owners are proud farmers (they mention it a few times) and bring in different winemakers to make the wines. If it wasn't for the stunning views, this place would be average. I found the tasting fee a bit much for four wines. Also, given the winery is at the top of the hill, be mindful that the climb and descent are quite steep.

When you first drive thru the Gates of Bella Vida you know you are entering a special place-manicured in detail down to the carefully groomed grapes---no matter what time of year. This sets the pace for what you are about to experience when you arrive to the top of the hill to take in the vistas'----you can see for miles. Entering the very well appointed contemporary tasting room with windows to view from above the clouds and on into the valley--Sit back and enjoy some fine wines-three winemakers-and all in a style of their own. Your hosts will enducate you with their hands on growing experience from the " Soil to the Table" You will not want to miss this experience in the Oregon Wine Country. A Must see and taste for all!!
