north platte area children's museum

This is such a great interactive play area ! My 21 month old cries everytime we leave ! If you come to North platte and have kids this is a must do !

Went to the museum with grandsons and family. Grandsons were 8 months and 21 months. There is a room just for the little ones who aren't walking yet, where my youngest stayed with me and a variety of rooms for the others. Not overly crowded which was nice! One of the most interesting rooms was the "interactive" room where the kiddos are moving around with pictures displayed on the floor, popping bubbles, kicking a ball, doing math problems. Not sure exactly how it works but it does and it catches the kids attention and interest! There is something for all!

I visited the North Platte Children's museum in March of 2013. I was very impressed with the activities/toys but the floor was filthy. It was so dirty that my son's feet were black and I had to keep grabbing bits of green lint out of his hands before he ate them.

We enjoyed this Childrens Museum even more than Denvers! Not as crowded and really cool exhibits! Loved the veterinarian room and giant floor piano!

Great interactive family time with your early elementary age children! Lots of role playing and exploration. It's a small town atmosphere, very welcoming & affordable with some great exhibits. The only downside is they are unable to take debit/credit cards so bring cash.
