Must Visit! Villa Del Monte Wine is my "DO NOT TOUCH" wine in the wine fridge & I am even hesitant to share my opinion to this best kept Santa Cruz Mnt winery secret! That said, Neil and John's wines of ANY variety are simply perfect .... for my pallet at least.... Some smooth and others with a flavorful punch... They are not about fancy settings, but really just about the wine and people themselves... They have great gourmet chef that provides recipes you can make at home to pair their wines with, intimate wine club pick up parties and a wealth of knowledge they share on how they make the wine... You can even join in on the making which is LOADS of fun as they provide opportunities for you to help bottle, press and label the wine!As noting the tasting area is nothing fancy, but if you are like me and it's all about the company and wine itself than it is out of this world! Join the wine club for free and get two shipments a year under $100 (steal!) and great discounts and pre-order on special limited varieties... can't go wrong with these guys and their wine!
