river recreation whitewater rafting day trips

Two 50+ active adults had a great time on 9/9/14. The food was good, our guide was excellent and we would recomend this trip for anybody who is up for a little adventure.

This is now our 3rd River Rafting trip, First time on the Tieton and first time with River Recreation. Definitely will come back and use River Recreation. From the wonderfully friendly and laid back, yet professional guides and staff, to the great bbq they provided and fantastic photos- it was an awesome trip. This trip was the longest we have done, and I definitely like that- you really get the full day experience. Absolutely Awesome! :)

There were 5 of us on the Teiton rafting trip last Saturday morning. what a great experience from the "get-go". The communication before the trip was excellent. Our check in host Wes, awesome! I am sure he is also a great guide but our guide was Christian. We felt safe at all times, he is excellent in his rafting/safety expertise not to mention his awesome "paddle" disposition !! It made for a great experience.

River Recreation does a fantastic job. We floated the Tieton with them on 9/13 and they were extremely friendly, professional, had nice and ample river equipment, and overall ran a very tight ship so to speak. Definitely something I would consider doing again.

5 family members on Tieton River. Amy at the company answered emails and phone calls in advance of trip. They accomodated my vegetarian daughter (gave her veggie burger vs BBQ chicken lunch). All gear was in good repair and many sizes. Our guide, Austin, was fantastic. Admin had split us in to 2 boats, but fixed that when they realized we were one family. They had an employee tracking the boats with a camera at about 5 locations, and offered a CD of about 80 photos of strictly your boat for $40. The other river companies wanted $20 for one photo or $40 for six. All employees were pleasant and accomodating. This location was Honeybuckets only, but clean. I've been on many river trips over the years, and found this company to be well run. All five family members voted to do another trip with them next year.Done

This was seriously the best river rafting experience just because of the laid-back friendliness of the guides. We had great instructions and they never once bent the rules, but fun was the focus of the day. I also liked that this company offers trips down other rivers than just one. I will definitely use them again!! PADDLES UP!!!

We went out on the Nooksak on a crazy day....the river had swelled during the week and the rapids were going pretty good. The first 1/2 hour was crazy but fun, my guide was awesome and knew what he was doing. A boat had flipped and the staff reacted pretty quickly to make sure everyone was safe. They kept saying these things rarely happen in all their 5-6 years rafting. It is normally a 1-2 hr ride but it ended up being 5 hours or so. Definitely a day to remember!

My wife and I had a great time on the Nooksak this past weekend. Our guide was great and everyone in our boat seemed to have a great time. This was my wife's first time rafting, so I was a little concerned that it would be a little frightening for her. She loved it and wanted even more action. Lunch was served prior to going out and it was a chicken lunch with salad and a roll. We were not too hungry, so it was fine. I did not give this all 5, as there seemed to be a lot of waiting around. We got there at 1PM, lunch was still being cooked. I think we should have went through some of the safety and boating stuff, while we were eating, as we all were in our own groups during lunch, then we got gear, loaded on the bus for a ride to our launch location, then we had a lengthy talk about rafting and safety. It did take quite a while until we were on the water. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy the trip, there are some things that need to be worked on. All of the staff were very friendly and they definitely have safety in mind.

For first timers, this was an enjoyable experience. Absolutely loved the staff and our guide. They made this so awesome of a time that we are already planning when we can go again. We can't stop talking about it!

My husband and I picked the perfect day to float down the Wenatchee RIver with River Recreation. It was a scorching 98 degree afternoon so being on (and in) the water was a welcome treat. After a simple lunch and short bus ride we were in our boat and ready to take on Drunkards Drop and the Eyeball. Our guide, TJ, was funny, informative and very experienced. We loved every moment - from the exciting rapids to the fun water play with the other boats in our group. Taking a refreshing dip or two during the more quiet parts of the river was bliss. We will remember our rafting trip for many years and hope to tackle another river, soon!

Great time with River Recreation on our trip down the Nooksack River with 27 Happy people. Even saw a few bald eagles on the second part. Our group is ready to do it again!!!

My wife and I had a fantastic time on the Wenatchee with River Recreation. The staff was well organized and made logistics very easy. My wife had never rafted before, so this was the first opportunity to get her feet wet (terrible pun). She loved it!The only reason this wasn't 5 stars is our guide, Cash, was pretty new to guiding and didn't instill much confidence in the group. We didn't have a great orientation and you could tell he was still getting comfortable in the position. From past experiences, I know that the guide can be a huge addition to the experience, so that was the only letdown. It did look like all the other guides were great, so that shouldn't be a deterrent for anyone. We'd just request a different guide next time.

We were an older bunch of women and were a little concerned about how we would do on the water and how we would feel the next morning physically. It was perfect thanks to the TLC care we were given and level of excitement we had with some of the rapids. Not boring at all. Will do it again!

This was a family trip for our group (ages ranged between 26-57), and we had a blast. Our guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Their rafting gear was in good shape, fun atmosphere before the float, and a pretty good bbq chicken lunch. Hope to return for Class 4/5.

This is my second time rafting with River Recreation. I returned because I believe that they not only want me to enjoy myself, but, my safety is there top priority. Their guides are fun and full of jokes and stories. Just take half of what they tell you with a grain of salt! The Wenatchee didn't disappoint, and the rafting was awesome. After a delicious BBQ lunch, my group boarded a shuttle van and where driven to three local breweries to sample the local beer scene. Again, our guides where knowledgable and personable. It felt like hanging out with old friends. I would not hesitate to recommend River Recreation to my friends, and can't wait to come back and raft with them again. "Waves and Whisky", anyone?
