My husband and I travel to Leavenworth at least once a year ... And we always stop at the Kestrel Wine Room. The quality of the wine never disappoints ... And the staff is amazing. They always recognize us and recall that we travel from Canada. Thank you to Sue and the other amazing staff for always making our and our friends experience such a wonderful part of our trip! We look forward to seeing you again next year!

The wine is good. Unfortunately, the service vastly overclouds, outweighs, and destroys any enjoyment we received from the wine. The pourers at Kestrel Vintners' tasting room in Leavenworth, Washington were extremely rude and offered distasteful, abhorrent service. The staff snickered amongst themselves, made unfriendly remarks, and offered insulting commentary to our friends who were tasting with us. We definitely will not be going back.

We visited this winery during our visit to the Yakima Valley. Very friendly staff, and the food looked good, so we chose to have lunch here. Good decision -- the open-face sandwiches were carefully prepared and delicious. Tasting fee is refundable with purchase; staff knew the full history of the winery, so we learned a lot about their operations during the tasting. Would go again on our next visit to this area.

After a dissapointing visit to the Hogue winery, we decided to try Kestrel, just up the street. What a contrast! The server was warm, extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic. She served us not only amazing wines, but captured our imaginations with her passion for great wines from a great winery. As we were to get on a plane to fly back to Michigan in a few days, we had pledged to buy no wine...we couldn't help ourselves after tasting the 2007 Estate Malbec, however. It is now in our kitchen awaiting the perfect evening with friends we love! Thank you!

Excellent wine and service average. Was disappointed that they were not serving any food. Only on the weekends.

Enjoyed our visit here. Very good wines all around, particularly the reds. Very nice tasting room with a large "bar" for small to large groups. Another recommended stop.

Folks at Kestrel have gone out of their way to produce world class wines at affordable prices. At every price point, their wines best the superb wines available from other Washington State wineries. But the real joy comes from experiencing their wines with superb pairings and the enthusiasm of the staff in assuring you have an enjoyable visit. Allocate an extra measure of your time in the Yakima Valley to this winery...you won't be disappointed! Short on time? Visit either their Woodinville or Leavenworth locations. Same great wines, unique presentations!

We have traveled from the Seattle over to Kestrel for several years, but now live in Wenatchee. We are happy that Kestrel has opened a tasting room in Leavenworth. Love the different women on the bottles. We just drink the wine, and don't collect the bottles with the women on them! Worth the drive!

We sampled a variety of red wines produced under different labels from the winery, and took advantage of several special offers.The staff were very knowledgeable, the setting comfortable, and the wines very enjoyable. We were purchasing several bottles for donation to a school auction and were given free posters to include - a nice touch.

Had fun wine tasting at this Prosper winery. Very good wine. Able, the server that helped with wine and cheese pairing was wonderful. It was our experience with him that made the whole experience just wonderful! Try this place! Good wine. Good prices. Great experience!
