The primary value of this winery, aside from the many tastes available, is that they sell tankards of wine so you can full your wine glass as you would a mug of beer from a keg. It's a marvelous invention that no one else in the crowded Woodinville wine community seems to be doing, yet anyway. The wine stays fresh forever, that is, I have never had it go bad on me and I get roughly a tank per month. It lowers the cost immensely compared to buying bottles. You save about 25% and the wine is always fresh. They have 7 varities of red and wine available at present. I used to buy wine by the bottle all the time, frequently expensive ones, and very often felt resentful that I had been ripped off. In general I personally think most wines are over-rated and over-priced. This is a way, the best way, perhaps the only way, to beat that racket. I'm never going back to bottles. A friendly and knowledgable young man named Rick runs the show. The tasting is $10 but you get a large number of wines and it is deuctible from a purchase. I prefer the 2009 Reserve Petite Verdot (a red), but have heard the Sauvingnon Blanc (a white) is quite good. Visit and see for yourself.
