This little park is a real gem. You walk down a quiet valley surrounded by large trees. The valley opens up onto a small beach and dock with a great view of the lake. There is a washroom -- and plenty of park-bench seating enjoy the view. It's a very tranquil setting and within easy walking distance from downtown Bellevue. We walked from our hotel to this park and then over to the old Bellevue area. From there we walked back to our hotel through the Downtown Park. A really nice walk -- and, for us, Meydenbauer Beach Park was the highlight.

We chanced upon this place as we were exploring this side of Bellevue, and woow...what a place to chance upon -- its a beautiful small park with tall trees and different kinds of colorful flowers, a small parking driveway and a serene beach hidden from the world! Its a perfect summer getaway to laze around, swim, sun bathe, or to simply play in the clear waters of Lake Washington!

This place is a must visit for a relaxing weekend. You will not find many people in region talking about this place - but once you have been here - you will want to go back again. It's a small drive away from Bellevue downtown. There's a nice parking driveway. The walk to the beach is very beautiful - you'll be surrounded by high trees and different colored flowers. There's a small beach - so you can laze around on a nice sunny summer day. Water's clear so you can venture out a bit too.

I hesitate to write this review because this is a tiny tucked away beach, with a small parking lot, that we love and many people have never heard of. What we like best are the manicured green lawns and the views of mansions and yachts on Lake Washington. The swimming area is decent. A great summer spot for families with small children.

For a Fall visit to Lake Washington it doesn't get much better than this little park, right on the edge of Meydenbauer Bay of Lake Washington. The parking lot is quite small and it is a downhill walk to the Lake but a steep walk back to your car. During the Summer it is a popular swimming park but in the Fall it is a peaceful place to enjoy a picnic and beautiful lake views.

Have enjoyed many experiences at this park. Family outings. Watching to Blue Angels fly overs etc. Not a large park which works to make it a great place for visiting. But make sure you get early or it will fill up.

Love this beach and swimming area. Very family oriented but good for couples/dates and others too. Only negative could be the hill to climb to get back to your car if you are at all physically challenged. Great playground, friendly folks, lifeguard only during the summer. Fun to watch boats go by (slowly!!!) in the bay. Very clean water!!!!

Undisputably the best place in Bellevue, which offers nice views to the sea and is also open to the public. I would prefer to go to Kirkland though to enjoy a much better and mor relaxed stroll by the lake. Let me down concerning the fact that is really small. Do not even wonder to swim here. The water is extremely dirty.

Helps turn Bellevue into a resort community. I love lake swimming, and this is lovely access. What a treat for all. Summer in the Puget Sound is magic with all the lovely lake beaches.

Beautiful water views and great sunset viewing. This beach is relatively small and is surrounded by evergreens. It has a fine play area for young children and bathrooms in the summer. It's a steep climb back up the hill if you're walking.

We love this park and have visited many times in both summer and fall. It is always beautiful and feels cozy as it's tucked away in a beautiful Bellevue residential neighborhood. It's a small park, but there's a playground for the kids, a few picnic tables, lots of grassy areas, clean bathrooms, and a small parking lot (free). The sunsets here are gorgeous.

It was a well kept small but nice area to eat, play and swim and even fish off the end of the pier. The grassy area is perfect for laying out in the sun. They had very nice clean restrooms also and benches around just to sit and watch the fun and children playing in the sand and water

Nice walk from center of Bellevue to a lovely little park on Lake Washington. All of Bellevue scenery at its best--the lake, the mountains, the greenery. Small area so could be crowded on weekends. Found in a nice walk and respite in the early morning of a busy day.

Lovely public park with good parking and what seems to be a deep forest entrance. Excellent beach for children, nice dock, lifeguards. Very convenient to downtown but secluded, rustic and delightful. Restrooms, benches and a delightful view of a very nice part of Lake Washington

Very near my house, convenient. Dogs-on-leash permitted only in Fall and Winter. Very nice beach. Limited parking space.
