watertown family aquatic center

When my grandchildren come to town, it's always fun to have fun times. Going to the Aquatic Center is always a must! My 91 year old mother loves coming along and sitting by the pools watching everyone having a terrific time. Usually it's grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends - everyone enjoying themselves.

Its a great pool for our small town. Would be nice if they added some new things. The lifeguards are always great and there is usually plenty of seating.

Recently our family was in Eastern South Dakota to visit family. We took the day to head to Watertown for a day at the local waterpark. Amazing. What a great family adventure!!. The park has a lazy river, 4 slides, a diving board, rope bridge, kids play area with a zero entry and a seperate toddler area. What a gem for the community and surrounding area! We visisted on Wacky Wednesday with $1 hot dogs and pretzals!Plenty of life guards on hand covering the entire park. I know there are larger parks, but we spent 5 hours and never felt crowded or board. :) Excellent value for the money. If your in the area on a hot summer day you cannot go wrong!
