catawba creek golf club

This is my husband and my favorite golf course in the Charlotte area. We used to live in Gastonia and made it our "home" course. Since we moved to Charlotte, we STILL go back there at least once a week to golf. Only downside is the clubhouse is not very conducive to a "19th" hole. But the course is challenging and you will especially love the lake on the 8th hole! The staff is friendly. No pressure.

This was one of the most pleasant surprises I've had in recent weeks. I played 18 with a cart on a weekday afternoon for $25. The greens were really nice for the price. I'm looking for an excuse to return.

Fairways and Greens have greatly improved in the last few years. Service is always friendly, would be four stars if they would ever remember to have water coolers out on the course. I can't stand getting to the seventh hole and being thirsty with no options till the clubhouse turn.

Several years ago I played this course when it was the Gastonia Municipal Course... it was like playing on a battlefield. The new carts, new greens and total overhaul of this course are simply excellent. Now I look forward to playing on this course regularly and I suspect they will continue to improve it!
