If you enjoy history, you will really love touring the Hall House. It is beautiful and I am blessed to have known the last lady who lived there. It is always included in the Salisbury's Tour of Homes and hosts other activities in the year.

We had a fantastic tour guide who was a wealth of information about the Hall House and the town of Salisbury. Love touring historical homes and this was one of my favorites :) well worth the price of admission!

The Hall House started out as a school for girls in antebellum Salisbury. It was purchased by Dr. Hall and when the Union troops arrived in Salisbury, it was used as a command center. It is beautifully restored and offers tours throughout the week. A great sight to visit when touring old Salisbury.

The Hall House is beautifully decorated at Christmas time. All the decorations are from the era. In the dining room the table is set and the food looks ready to eat. It is part of the scene but sure is realistic. Many Christmas trees decorated with old ornaments.

This home was part of Salisbury's annual home tour. However I believe it is open during the rest of the year as a museum. Don't miss it if you like historical homes.
