subterra castle

Subterra is an old missle base which was purchased and turned into the home of Ed & Dianna Peden. Ed invites visitors to come and tour their home as long as you make a reservation. Ed walked us through the entire facility, providing history on the former base and answering any and all questions. We had a fantastic time, Ed was very friendly and actually sat with us a bit before the tour so he could get to know us. His wife Dianna was also extremely friendly, we felt very welcome into their home. This place is amazing, worth a side trip. It is amazing what they have done with the place....
