If in the area it is worth the stop. For a few bucks you get a glass, a sample of all the beers on tap, and a tour of the brewery. It was interesting to see what a small operations it is for the wide area throughout the country their product is sold. The staff is very small and very friendly. A classy operations.

Hola all, We stopped by the Erie Brewing Company on a rainy afternoon and loved our entire experience. There were 2 other groups in the tasting area/store when we entered and a few more came in behind us. We were charged $6 and threw a couple of bucks in the tip jar; at the end we tossed a couple more bucks in the jar! We started our experience with a few tastings, a tour, and then finished off our tastings. I think the order of tour/tastings varies with how busy they are (only 1 person is working the counter and the tours). No problem, we took a traveller on our tour. Once paid you get a small glass (approx 5 oz and yours to keep) etched with the EBC logo. You start with the lightest beer on top and work your way up to the darker/heavier beers. There were 7 or 8 beers on tap when we went (they guarantee at least 5 on tap). Each beer was very distinct. We purchased a 24 case when we left and we were able to select a variety of all beers to fill our case. They also sell 6 and 12 packs. The tour was very informative. I can't believe all bottles are loaded and unloaded by hand. A great way to spend a couple of hours! We travel to Erie a couple of times a year and we will make this a regular stop for sure.
