Listen People I Like the Beach I was born in Puerto Rico and lived in New York, Miami, Key West,, and visited 3 of the top ten Beaches in the world and I will never give any Beach north of Florida a 5 stars but with that said, this beach is not bad, when I was going to ODU I was taking Oceanography and was part of the group of students that help with the survey to replenish the sand right after Hurricane Isabel, so it will always have a special part in my heart, it has very good parking a lots of restaurants to eat at in your way in or out, and the sand is very clean.

Quiet and relaxing stretch of sand, not like the boardwalk! Not cluttered with tons of shops and hotels, this is more of a diy and bring a cooler type of place. Great place to rent a cottage for a week or two and really get away from it all!!!

An excellent escape from everyday city life. Clean beach, beautiful sandbank, amazing sunset! Furthermore, there are plenty of nice restaurant nearby - making this a heaven for foodies.

Virginia beach in my opinion is the best beach on the east coast! Very clean. Great for boogie boarding. I loved the showers at the entrances. The area in general is awesome!

This place will take a moment to get to coming from DC or Peninsula.....but, once "there" it is amazing......quiet, beachy, and LARGE homes or condos for rent. Many of the homes face the beach....providing amazing sunsets. Access to the beach is typically reserved for homeowners as posted on many signs...there is a small park, some porta-potties, and a few taverns/store to drop in. Go get lost in time. It is well worth the drive!

The park is wonderful. Great place to walk along the beach among the dunes without the crowds or the massive developments

We visited the beach in January so of course the conditions were not ideal, but it was beautiful and serene. Parking was good, We would like to go back in warmer weather. :)

This beach is very close to my son's home. Just lovely, nice peaceful, convenient parking. Convenience store close by

This used to be the locals beach, there are two pretty good beach restaurants and bars usually with music during the summer. But with the constant construction of condos and new homes over the last ten years it has lost some of it appeal, it was so much nicer when there was very little here. Parking is terrible, you should bring everything you need for the day if you are driving in. The beach is beautiful and seemingly never ends.

WOW! What a beautiful place to be. The ocean and beach are so clean. Neighbors are wonderful people. Beach house all the way down and no motels or hotels with mass amounts of people. Our family rented a home for all of us to get together in one place and we had a great time.

We love visiting Sandbridge beach. We enjoy the calm, quietness of this area. There's no hotels, just beach houses so it's not usually overly busy. There are a couple of restaurants in the area but this is definitely not the Ocean Front. There's always dolphin playing close to the beach and decent waves. One of our favorite places in the world.

This is a beach for the whole family its off the beaten path, and mostly visted by locals, or people renting houses. There is not a lot of parking, but if you can get a spot the ocean is beautiful and the beach is just perfect.

What I've always liked about this place was how close it was to where I grew up. The view here of the Atlantic ocean is spectacular. The surrounding area is quiet. Come here, it will stay with you forever.

Weather was bad, but we'll go back when it's nicer and take the tram and when we can stay outside for more than 5 minutes at a time
