This winemaker focuses on what he wants to do -- make wine from grapes he buys from reliable growers. He's not a grape grower. The winemaker was on vacation when we stopped by and were served by his daughter. His daughter is personable, knowledgeable, and is a fantastic representative for her parents while they are gone. We salute her enthusiasm and devotion to their wines. We bought two wines, preferring fuller bodied wines. The Meritage and Triple Rouge Cuvee will have a place on our table when we return home. This is a good beginning for a winery and a good relationship with a chocolate maker ... great blackberry port chocolate. Take the time to stop by and visit. Yikes! I don't remember if there was a fee or not!
