恰好路过，在国外旅游就喜欢看教堂。我到那儿的时候已经是星期六中午时间，里面人还是不少。挺漂亮的教堂，非常值得一去。

St. Joseph's has daily Mass at noon. The interior is quite beautiful and the history of the church is very interesting. It is located by the mall on Commerce Street.

Husband and I attended 8 am Sunday Mass. Church was not full, but visitors were welcome and parishioners were friendly. Pretty, old church that reminded me of other German Catholic parishes we have visited.

When in San Antonio, be sure to pay a visit to St. Joseph's during the day to say a pray and experience the serenity. We made a quick visit when there were no services taking place. The recorded music playing softly added to the peaceful and reverent atmosphere in this historic church.

Stopped in and viewed this church. Very beautiful and also historical. Wanted to go back and spend time praying.

My wife and I went to Mass here last Sunday. The service was beautiful. The church itself is amazing. Stations of the Cross were done with hand crafted statues at each station. A plaque at the back of he church credits German Catholic immigrants with the founding and creation of the church. It is stunning. Like a small cathedral. Easy to find. Right off the River Walk.

While in the Tower of the Americas we noticed a little church dwarfed by surrounding new construction. So on a walk-about we checked it out. It was near closing time, but we were able to take in the beauty of its altars and learn a little history. The interest is what's happening now, that the church has refused to sell its property to the developers of exclusive shops that surround it.

No dislikes; the historic church is very beautiful and the priest gave a very good homily. The classical archtecture is really something to see.

I heard about this church while on the riverboat tour. It could sorta get ignored with all the other buildings built up around the church. Be sure and go in . The stain glass that was brought from Germany is gorgeous. I visited with the wonderful lady in the little shop at the back. She was a wealth of info. The altar was so amazing.

If you've been to cathedrals in Europe, this will disappoint, but the story behind their resilience on keeping their grounds against a local department store is neat and their donation container is a rocket shipping container, so there's that.

This is old church having regular mass, Saw a couples marriage at this place, This place has quite open front yard. You get peace at this church.

Churches are so much a part of the cultural history of a location. St.Joseph's Church was close to our hotel, the Alamo and the River Walk. Such a beautiful, quiet refuge on a busy day!

Beautiful church within distance from downtown for visitors like us. Church have so many masses to fit everyone schedules. So you can't make any excuses for missing the mass (hehehehe). I really like this German-architect church with mosaics, painted glasses and sculptures. Will attend mass here again if visiting San Antonio in the future...

We went in to view. It was an amazing church was tons of old architecture. A christening was being performed at the altar. Gorgeous place!
