From the Craig Thomas discovery and visitor center proceed left and up that highway about 3 miles. Proceed toward taggers lake and the road will come to an and where it has been plowed. . From that point on the road is used as a free cross country ski area. The area is groomed for both ski skating and traditional skiing. Absolutely beautiful

This national park center was staffed by friendly helpful park rangers. Clean bathrooms, maps and a shop to buy souvenirs just what you need in a park like this.

The guides were nice and informative - I would buy anything there unless you really have to (a bit pricey).

The Grand Teton NP visitors center is the best visitors center I have ever been in. It is simply beautiful inside. The views looking out from inside the center are fantastic. The shop is great too, my only complaint is that the shirts for adults are not as good as the childrens. Seems the adult shirts should be for children and the childrens for adults.

Stopped here for information and the staff was overwhelmingly competent to guide and answer all questions. Every local brochure on hand. Good little shopping area and a casual ramp walkway to learn more about the Elk Reserve and the area.

Just a quick 10 minute drive north of Jackson, this visitor's center is a "must stop" before going on the 42 Mile Loop. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They gave us an insights into what would fit in with our schedule and "level of adventure". They also gave us a few suggestions about activities in Jackson for that evening. There is an Elk viewing area on the second level as well. It is not a big center but it is well done and worth a 30 minute visit !

The park rangers will provide the best way for you to visit. They will ask about what you like to do or see, how much time you have and then suggest the route. They know if roads are closed or under construction and suggest alternate routes. They know where wildlife has been viewed and at what time. Pleasant and informative people with MAPS!!

The rangers there were very helpful in answering our questions. It sounded like there were good presentations/events there as well, although we didn't stay there long. The exhibit was nice, with good info on the wildlife.

Perfectly done from the building architecture, layout, exhibits, large clean bathrooms and ample parking this place is a must stop. Souvenirs, hands on exhibits, knowledgeable rangers, maps, and more.

The rangers here are very experienced and go out of the way to help you. The shop here sells good souvenirs as well.
