harold's southwestern gifts

Recently took the scenic route between Phoenix and Roswell, through the middle of the southwest and passed Harolds on the way out of Socorro after stopping at the VLA. The GPS will have you bypass Socorro proper but the last thing out of town heading east is this shop. It has a huge variety of items, from small and touristy to some nice art and ceramics. It is a mom and pop operation that will not only offer merchandise, but good directions and info known to locals. Unfortunately there aren't many of this type of shop left these days, so don't pass this one up if iin the area.
