This is a nice golf course set u for the average golfer. However the Pros can play the tips and have quite a challenge. The staff is always accommodating and friendly.

The golf course was exceptional. Very fun but challenging in a forest setting. I particularly liked that it was very open without homes being close by, so you really had a sense of being on a very high end private course!!

Fun course for me. As a beginner I can't comment in the difficulty but the staff were very friendly. Beautiful day, affordable prices.

We found the golf course to be player friendly and at the right price! We played in the afternoon at the twilight rates. The greens were in phenomenal shape and the course in General was in nice condition. Go Play!!

The area was dry when we arrived so the course was not perfect, but it was a fun little course for novice to intermediate players at a good price. Friendly staff.

Today was my first day to play golf at the Links. I am a beginner. I had a fantastic time. The golf pro was very helpful and informative. The marshal was helpful in showing us paths to take since it was our first time. Everyone was friendly and helpful and most of all patient for a beginner golfer. I didn't hold anyone up. It was exciting and fun. It wasn't too hard for a beginner golfer. So, take a chance and have fun!

Excellent fun course. The boxes are handicapped perfectly. If you're a high handicap this is your best option in town. If you're a low handicap the gold tees give you plenty of challenge. The greens are excellent so you can score.

Memorial Day at the golf course. The wind was a little tricky. The course was in great shape and everyone was courteous and helpful. We were given 4 & 1/2 hours to finish. We were done in 4. We had a blast and it was the last round here before we head home.

The Links Golf Course is both beautiful and challenging. The course is open to the public and offers a driving range and putting and chipping green. They have a small kitchen that has good hamburgers and hot dogs. The ladies in the kitchen are always full of fun! They offer "cold" beer too!

Course was in good condition. It is very playable and nothing jukey about it. Had some some areas on the back nine under repair, but really didn't come into play and seems to be healing quite well. Takes nothing away from the round. Fees are reasonable and the staff was nice. I was there on a Wednesday afternoon, playing by myself and pace of play was never an issue.

My husband and I were having a grand time on the sixth hole when the rain started and did not stop for the rest of the day. Too bad because the course was fun and well taken care of. We plan to visit again later in the fall. Hot and steamy, we will wait until the weather cools down.

When I came to Ruidoso (once or twice a year) I must play this course. One of the best municipal courses I have ever played. Links style on the front nine and through the trees on the back. Beware...in the mountains the ball travels further!

We were in Ruidoso from Dallas and wanted to take the kids golfing, we did it at the Links! It was really a cool course, and the pros and a woman named Lori working there made it so much fun! Good prices, beautiful day and we will make that a routine next trip!

The drought has had an effect on this course. However, it is still worth playing every time you come here. Play after 2 for reduced rates. There is much less rough due to lack of rain, so the course is much more forgiving than previous years.
