The hallways are made of brick, upstairs and down, and they are deeply pitted, partly because of centuries of wear and partly because undergrads bowled down them in the university's early years. A portrait of George II was beheaded in this building by a flying cannonball during the Battle of Princeton. And note that in the area that shows the Princeton dead of the nation's battles that the university does not distinguish between Union and Confederate alumni during the Civil War.

At one time the largest building in the new United States. This was the key building in the founding of the "college". The land came from the Society of Friends. The money from the town. Go in when you can, there are hours posted during the week. Enter the Faculty room. Nassau Hall sits at the top of Witherspoon Street, behind the massive gates.

A visita é agradável, mas não há nada de extraordinário. Vale deixar para o final, se sobrar tempo.A construção é enorme.

Dos diversos locais que visitei em princeton, esse não é um local imperdivel. Bonito, bem conservado como a maioria dos locais, porem não prioritario.
