wilebski bird sanctuary

Larry Wilebski is a pretty quiet guy. He doesn't blow his own horn and doesn't have a lot of time for other folks who generate more noise than heat. He also isn't one to wait for the government or some agency to do stuff - so many years ago he started buying land and planting trees and shrubs. The numbers are staggering - an immense project done almost exclusively by a family committed to wildlife and the outdoors. Every visit there is a joy.
