Lowell Park doesn't look like much until you sit on a bench and relax while listening to the waves. It becomes extremely relaxing and a great way to take in the atmosphere of the river. They are building new bathrooms now which is great. And Summer Tuesdays is a must, but bring your own folding chairs to enjoy the movie playing in comfort.

Grass is neatly kept up, lots of open space for kiting or just relaxing beside the river...beautiful park all around

If you like riverfront promenades, and you are visiting Stillwater, you might enjoy this riverfront park. There is a shady pavilion right over the water, where you can sit on a bench and listen to the gentle waves hit the riverbank. Parts of this park are still closed after the flooding, but I can imagine that the park will be even more attractive once the cleanup is complete. One block from the restaurants and shops on Main St.
