bellevue state park

This was our second trip to Bellevue, Iowa, and the first time we noticed the park. Unfortunately, we were on our way out of town and didn't have a lot of time to spend there, but we will definitely be back. The view of the Mississippi river and the town is breathtaking. There is a butterfly garden and paths to walk, some leading past Indian mounds. I understand there is a day-use lodge, picnic shelter, and other facilities.It was a wonderful place to spend a little bit of our morning.
