An older small town bowing Center that has been maitianed and upgraded. Family fun bowling or good food at the snack bar.

As a Californian it sounds weird to me that a bowling alley has a good restaurant; it isn't usually that way here. However ... the restaurant in the Comet Bowl serves up some delicious walleye. It is crisp, delicious and not a bit fishy. Yum!

This is a bowling alley, but it was recommended to us for lunch. The food was great, especially the hamburgers. All the locals seem to come here for lunch.

Bowling Great lanes at reasonable prices as well as great food & drinks

This place was the closest to our hotel. We stopped in for dinner. Do not let the bowling name fool you. They have great food here! I had the walleye entree and my husband had a walleye sandwich. Both are highly recommended. My favorite is the funnel cake fries. You must try the funnel cake fries if you have room. Our waitress was attentive and timely as well. Overall, this place was a great find for us because there is not much in Charles City, IA.
