You don't expect the inside to look the way it does based on the look of the building. Walk through the doors and you are in a light wood lodge. It also smells like wood which leads me to believe it was recently renovated. It is a very large space with a pool table available. We seat ourselves at the bar and we immediately notice how uncomfortable the bar stools are. They seat is a very small area and the back leans you forward enough that it feels like you are going to fall right out of it. The bartender was very friendly. Free peanuts and popcorn. It's is a peanut bar so just throw the shells on the floor. Drinks were average price. No specials though which is always a turnoff. Always, always, always have a special. Bathrooms were clean and stocked. I would return if I were in the area but I don't long to go back. A variety of drinks to choose from so you are sure to find something you like.
