Take the family. Educational and really worth the trip! Well designed and very friendly staff. Excellent aircraft and displays.

Very neat place to visit- I will bring my teenage son back to see it sometime. They gave a personalized tour with details about all the planes- several of them were one of a kind. I also liked the old uniforms and information about Iowa pilots displayed.

We love this museum and it keeps getting better every time we visit. LeighAnn is so knowledgeable and gives us a tour of each display and airplane. Besides vintage aircraft there is a display about Buddy Holly's plane crash, a woman pilot who eventually saved turtles along the gulf coast, and a wedding dress made from parachute material when silk was not available due to war rationing.
