allen's apple orchard

This was our first trip to Allen's Orchard.The apples were wide in variety, good quality and plentiful.Their prices were reasonable and their people helpful. The buildings and grounds are neat and well kept. It's easy to locate on a main road.I was a bit disappointed they didn't have the pears I thought I saw mentioned on their website but that may have been an earlier crop. We were too late for today's apple fritters. You could still smell them but they were "gone". :o)Maybe next time.We bought bags of three varieties. Have already had one of wife's wonderful fresh apple pies from part of them. It is a very family friendly place.
