cathedral valley loop

We love Capitol Reef N.P. and wanted to do this trail for a few years. We always ran into wet conditions and ended up doing other things. Finally we got a beautiful Fall day and did the loop. This requires a good vehicle with some clearance, preferably 4WD. We took the time to stop at some overlooks, the Morrell Cabin, the sinkhole and Temple of the Sun and Moon. This is a full days drive, take water and snacks - don't rush!!
